Claiming your UK pension in Spain

If you’re retiring to Spain, it’s easy to get your UK pension paid into your Spanish bank in Euros – and it’s free. You can even claim your pension online. Before you leave the UK, get in touch with the Pensions Service and they will advise you on your particular situation. You will need to provide the International Pension Centre (IPC) with your bank details and tell them how often you’d like your pension paid. There’s more information on their website – www.thepensionservice.gov.uk/ipc/countries/spain.asp.
